Great experience. Melanie was great- she was very intuitive and knew how to accomplish exactly what I was looking for (color correction). I knew I was in good hands right away. This was probably the best salon experience I've ever had. I felt like Melanie, and Patrice (who assisted because I came in just before closing time), were both passionate about their craft and good at tuning into what the client actually wants. I find that often times the stylist is hardly listening to what you want- they have their own idea in their head. This is why I generally just avoid salons and have my cosmetologist friends cut my hair. This was an entirely different experience though- these ladies were tuned in and had no other goal than to make you feel pampered and to flawlessly create the look you want. Would recommend this place to anybody I know. You might pay a little extra but it's well worth it. Thanks guys!
I moved here from VA and I was looking for a decent haircut then I found Art of Hair. It's PERFECT! They have drinks for free and a friendly staff. Katherine gives a perfect haircut and crystal cleaned me up with a shampoo to top it off. I always leave feeling relaxed. I'm a guy and I would highly recommend any other guy (or girl) to schedule an appointment with Katherine!
I got my hair done at the Art of Hair Salon today. I am so so so happy about my results and absolutely loved my stylist, Katherine. She pays so much attention to detail and will treat each of your strands with love and care! All the ladies at the salon were wonderful and they have great customer service. After years of looking for a salon, my search is finally over. This is the only salon I will be going to from now on, I highly recommend Katherine for your hair needs, she is extremely talented and will make you look and feel gorgeous! Have been going to Art of Hair since I moved to the area about 3 years ago. I always go to Katherine and have been very pleased. She helped me in the run up to my wedding with either a little trim or doing my hair for my rehearsal dinner.
